Overall Aim:
The aim of the workshop is to empower staff to design with ease.
Who Should Attend:
This course is designed for staff who are involved in marketing, social media, administration, or any role that involves the creation of designs, presentations, or promotional materials.
Objectives
After completing the workshop, each participant will be able to:
- Navigate the Canva platform with ease
- Use Canva to create content for all social media platforms
- Understand the importance of their visual identity
- Create a brand kit with logos, fonts, colour palette, brand guidelines
- Create brand templates for graphics, presentations, videos and more
- Create animations
- Work with Canva AI to enhance their visual marketing
- Organise their Canva account
- Work with their own content or stock content
- Use filters and features to enhance photos and videos
- Schedule content to social media platforms
- Use tools to create QR codes and mock-ups or integrate with third-party platforms
- Enhance their productivity with tips and tricks

Training method
Training is delivered online in one session (3.5 hours) over Zoom. Participants will be required to switch on their laptop video camera and microphone. All our online courses use a blend of online resources, virtual classroom and social learning. Up to 10 people can be included in online training courses.
Canva training will be delivered by Community Empower Canvassador, Debbie Ringwood of The Marketing Shop and will be approx. 80% on the Canva desktop/laptop platform. All participants should have a Canva account in advance of this training.

Cost is €65 members and €75 non- members .
