In the last decades, the concepts of sustainable development and sustainability in business have become dominant in the political agenda both at national and international level and have a growing impact on the consumer behaviours.

This diploma will explain how sustainability management can be integrated into business operations and introduce students to diverse ways in which businesses can promote and implement sustainability and environmentally-conscious policies in the workplace. This programme will also review the support available to companies in Ireland for the development and implementation of ‘Green Business’ strategies.

In this programme, learners will explore the concept of sustainability and its relationship to business and examine the issues related to sustainability management in a local and global context.
